Spring Youth Lacrosse Information:

  • The spring youth lacrosse season is open to all girls in grades 3 through 8 and runs from February/March through mid-May.
  • Warwick Girls Youth Lacrosse teams are divided into 2 or 3 separate teams based on grade levels: 2-4, 5-6 & 7-8.

Youth Club Registration Fees:

  • Club registration fees are approximately $75-125 depending on the season and age group. Exact registration amount will be determined as the season approaches..
  • Checks can be made out to Warwick Girls Lacrosse Parent Organization (WGLPO) and given directly to a coach or board member.

US Lacrosse Fee:

  • An additional $30 is due directly to the US Lacrosse Association for a yearly membership in US Lacrosse. This is a mandatory requirement for all girls in our club for insurance and liability purposes.
  • This fee must be paid directly to US Lacrosse at www.uslacrosse.org.
  • Our club name registered with US Lacrosse is WARWICK MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS LACROSSE CLUB.

Registration:

Uniforms & Equipment:

  • Team jerseys will be provided by the club and the cost is included in your registration fee.
  • Players must each have their own protective goggles, mouth guards and GIRLS Lacrosse sticks (not provided by the club).
  • Dick's Sporting Goods in Lancaster, Longstreth in Spring City, and Angelo's Soccer & Lacrosse Corner in Lancaster sells equipment and complete youth starter packages in the store and online.

Practices & Games:

  • May 6-7 is rock the cages. In past seasons, weekly indoor practices are held in February and March at local Lititz indoor gyms. Once the weather allows, practice moves outdoors in towards the end of March, and increase to twice a week for most teams.
  • Outdoor practices are scheduled to be held on the fields behind Bonfield Elementary School in Lititz.
  • Our website's calendar will continually have updated practice times and locations listed.
  • Our club plays in the Lancaster Areas Girls Lacrosse Association (LAGLA) League against teams from Lancaster, Lebanon, York & Berks Counties.
  • Games are held on at local Lancaster and Berks County schools and athletic fields on Saturdays from late-March through mid-May. One or two games are usually played each Saturday at one of the different host locations in the county. Play day Saturdays in 2023 will likely be 3/25, 4/1, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29 and 5/13. No LAGLA games are played on Easter Weekend.
  • Each year, we usually participate in different one-day tournaments that can be held on non-LAGLA Saturdays and Sundays. This year, teams will likely participate in the Manheim Township Rock the Cages Tournament on either May 6th & 7th.

Payment Refunds:

  • Prior to March 1st, season registration fees will be refunded minus a 10% processing fee.
  • After March 1st, season registration fee refunds will not be provided. In extraordinary situations or in the cases of player injuries as a result of playing lacrosse with our club, the club's officers may vote to allow for partial refunds.
